As if she needs the gift of gab!

Janie has never had a problem communicating. "Open the door and let me out on the porch." "Fill my bowl." "Scoop my doody." "Give me treats." It seems, nonetheless, she has assured herself the fabled Irish gift of gab by island hopping to smooch the Blarney stone. I can only imagine what this will mean for our conversations.

There's a MAN in a kilt, and then...

...And then, there's Sean Connery in a kilt. We're arranging to have Janie's eyes put back in her sweet lil head.

Her Royal Janieness

She was expecting tea and shortbread and Highland bagpipes, but they were not forthcoming.
Tell us where else you think she ought to travel!

A solemn stop at Culloden Battlefield

Jane felt very strongly that she wanted to pay her respects at Culloden, where so many brave men died. And of course, she thought wistfully of Jamie Fraser.....

Janie Fraser?

I was hoping she'd be coming home tomorrow, but she says she's going to stay and travel Europe for a bit -- it's been quite a few years since she was in Italy for the Olympics, and it looks like she's starting off in Scotland, no doubt because she's read the Diana Gabaldon "Outlander" books about four times.

Just a couple more to close out the night

She sent a few more shots from the day, but says that she respected Will's request that no photos be taken at the evening reception. She did say the food was fabulous, and both cakes were lovely.

I spoke with Jane earlier and she says the ceremony was lovely, though Victoria Beckham's hat was a disgrace. I hope to hear more from her soon and do hope she sends more pictures. Click on this one to see her better.

A jolly Janie sighting

I watched a little of the wedding festivities this morning, hoping for a glimpse of Janie... and it paid off! Here's a screen shot!

Welcome to Jane's new home on the Interwebs! At some point, I may bring over all her old adventures from her old-fashioned Web site. But there's no time for such tomfoolery right now -- she left New York earlier today and has arrived safely in London. You gotta feel sorry for her butler, though. If you click on the picture, it will enlarge.
